BROADCAST CAMPAIGNS 5 min read

Segment customers by medicine or last visit

Segmentation lets you target a broadcast at the right customers — not every customer in your database. A relevant message gets a far higher response than a generic one.

1

Open the Audience section in a new campaign

Start or edit a campaign and scroll to the Audience section. You will see filter options.

2

Filter by medicine

Click 'Add filter → Medicine' and type a medicine name (e.g. Metformin). All customers who have Metformin in their record are included in this segment.

3

Filter by tag / condition

Click 'Add filter → Tag' and select a condition tag like 'diabetic' or 'BP customer'. Tags are set on customer records and can represent any group you define.

4

Filter by last visit date

Click 'Add filter → Last visit' and choose 'More than 45 days ago'. This segments inactive customers — useful for reactivation campaigns.

5

Combine filters

Filters are combined with AND logic by default. Example: Medicine = Metformin AND Tag = diabetic AND Last visit > 45 days = inactive diabetic Metformin customers. The audience preview count updates as you add filters.

PRO TIP

Save your audience segments as presets for future campaigns. Go to Audiences → Save current segment. Reuse them next month without re-configuring the filters.
