How the daily reminder queue works
The daily queue is the heart of Ferbz. Every morning it shows you who is due, who is overdue, and who was recently returned — in one place, sorted by urgency.
When the queue is built
At 12:00 AM each night, Ferbz recalculates every customer's status based on their last follow-up date and interval. The queue is ready by the time you open the dashboard.
When automated reminders fire
At 9:00 AM each day, Ferbz automatically dispatches WhatsApp reminders to every customer in the 'Due today' section. You do not need to click anything.
Understanding the status badges
Due today (amber): reminder has fired or will fire today. Overdue (red): customer missed their follow-up window — reminder was sent but they have not visited. Recently returned (green): customer came in within the last 3 days. Upcoming (grey): due in the next 7 days.
Sorting order
The queue sorts by urgency: overdue customers appear first (most days overdue at the top), then due today, then upcoming. This ensures the most critical customers are never buried.
Acting on the queue
For overdue customers who have not responded to the WhatsApp reminder, your staff should follow up by phone. Mark customers as 'Returned' when they visit — this resets their interval and schedules the next reminder.
PRO TIP
Check the queue every morning before 10 AM. Most customers visit within 3 hours of receiving the 9 AM reminder.
